With Jane Shawcroft
A companion program to The Anxious Generation Community Discussion. All welcome, even if you didn't attend the March 18 event!
Join us as we take an inside look at the data behind the scientific debate on the relationship between social media and teen mental health. Along the way we will unpack what science can and cannot tell us about social media and teens, and how teens and parents can use science to successfully navigate our social media saturated world.
Jane Shawcroft is an incoming Assistant Professor in the School of Communication at The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on understanding how technology plays a role in the social and emotional health of teenagers. In particular, she is interested in finding ways that policymakers, parents, and teens themselves can leverage technology to support positive outcomes.
